How do I sign in?
Open the Me tab, enter your email and tap “Email me a sign-in link”. Open the email on the same phone and tap the link: it opens the app and signs you in. The link works once and expires after 15 minutes. There is no password.
The link opened my browser instead of the app.
Make sure the app is installed on the phone where you open the email, then request a new link from the Me tab. A link requested on the website signs you in on the website; a link requested in the app signs you in to the app.
How do calls work?
Open a question, set your probability that the answer is YES (0–100 %) and tap “Make my call”. You can change it as often as you like until the question closes; the latest call before the close is the one that is scored. Every question names the source that decides it.
How is my score worked out?
With the Brier score: the squared distance between your call and the outcome (1 for YES, 0 for NO), averaged over your resolved questions. 0 is perfect; always answering 50 % scores 0.25. Lower ranks higher on the leaderboard.
Is there money or a prize involved?
No. Forecasts are free to play: no stake, no payout, no prize.
How do alerts work?
In Me, tap “Turn on alerts” and allow notifications, then tap “Follow for alerts” on any question. You get an alert when the crowd moves 10 points or more and when the question resolves. Alerts are held between 22:00 and 08:00 your time.
How do I delete my account?
Me → Delete my account. It removes your profile, handle, follows, scores and alert devices at once and takes you off the leaderboard. Details are in app privacy.
